Job Description
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the firm’s day-to-day financial activities, with a focus on Billing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This role requires proficiency in Excel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation and processing of client billing using Deltek Ajera.Manage Accounts Payable: enter vendor invoices, track payments, and reconcile statements.Oversee Accounts Receivable: monitor incoming payments, follow up on outstanding invoices.Reconcile bank and credit card statements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist with payroll and employee expense reimbursements.Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial transactions.Provide general administrative support to the finance and operations team.Essential SkillsProficiency in Deltek Ajera and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.Work Environment
The role requires working 100% onsite during training, transitioning to a hybrid schedule. One week will be 3 days onsite and 2 days from home, and the next week will be 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $31.25/hr.
