Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities
+ Research and resolve short and long-term promotional deals per the division aging report.
+ Perform aging analysis of every new period to identify deals with significant dollar losses.
+ Prepare weekly and period balancing schedules to ensure accurate financial data reporting.
+ Research vendor repay requests on previously reconciled deals to assist in resolving disputes.
+ Assist in the period-end close process to remove reconciled deals from the aging report.
+ Provide support and feedback to department management regarding deal reconciliation issues.
+ Work on specific deals identified by management needing attention.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in promotions, accruals, and reconciliations.
+ Experience with PeopleSoft, Balances, and Excel.
+ Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 6+ months of Accounting or Finance experience.
+ Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
