Accounting and Control Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Accounting & Control Manager to join the Hilton Seychelles Operations Finance team\. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Director and forming part of the Seychelles Operations Finance Leadership Team\. As the Accounting & Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting across all in\-scope hotels, including monthly P&Ls and Balance Sheets\. You will collaborate closely with the COE\(Center of Excellence\)team, hotel operations, and other Operations Finance towers to drive standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement across all accounting processes\. **What will I be doing?** The Accounting and Control Manager serves as a strategic financial leader, responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and operational excellence acrossthehotels’operationsin Seychelles\. This role acts as the central liaison for internal and external audits, drives continuous improvement in financial processes, and ensures adherence to internal controls and corporate policies\. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, managing risk and compliance, partnering with the COEand FP&A\(Financial Planning & Analysis\)to enhance efficiency and cost control, and leading initiatives to improve process integrity and stakeholder satisfaction\. The role also involves developing KPI dashboards, conducting IT access reviews, and ensuring timelymonth end closures andresolution of audit findings\. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical acumen, and a proactive approach to problem\-solving, with the ability to influence cross\-functional teams and drive strategic improvements in a dynamic hospitality environment\. **Key Responsibilities** ·Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with Operations Finance standardswithin Hilton Seychelles\. ·Partner with Compliance to evolve the internal controls framework and ensure alignment with business risks and centralized models\. ·Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, collaborating with the COE and hotel teams to reduce exceptions and enhance efficiency\. ·Oversee financial reporting accuracy, including P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, within RTR \(Record to Report/General Accounting, including month end and bank reconciliations\)deadlines\. ·Support cost management through close collaboration with FP&A and ongoing forecast analysis\. ·Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and integrate stakeholder feedback to monitor service effectiveness\. ·Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and compliance with corporate policies, licenses, and regulatory requirements\. ·Provide financial oversight for capital projects and policy waivers, and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations\. ·Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster a high\-performance culture and support professional growth\. **What are we looking for?** ·Proven experience in financial control, audit, or accounting leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality or service industry\. ·Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting standards\. ·Demonstrated ability to lead cross\-functional teams and drive process improvements\. ·Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills\. ·Proficiency in financial systems, Excel,and reporting tools\(Pivot\); experience withSSCmodelsand PowerBIis a plus\. **Why** **j** **oin** **u** **s?** This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization\.
