Location: Decatur, IL or Erlanger, KY
This is an exempt level position.
**Position Summary**
Accounting Analysts at ADM demonstrate the ability to think and work independently while identifying opportunities to improve processes and financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes, along with the ability to manage projects of increasing complexity.
Analysts work closely with management and cross-functional teams across administrative, commercial, and operations areas. They are expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, drive continuous improvement, and support accurate financial reporting across the business. Analysts operate with minimal supervision and are responsible for seeing projects and initiatives through to completion.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete monthly accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP and perform relevant financial analysis
+ Monitor and reconcile inventory movement, balance sheet accounts, and ensure timely completion of reconciliations
+ Conduct annual review and updates of Key Financial Controls (SOX) and related process flows, identifying opportunities to improve control effectiveness and efficiency
+ Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
+ Perform monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reporting
+ Work independently with minimal supervisory oversight
+ Proactively participate in the design and implementation of process improvements
+ Assist with special projects within Corporate Accounting and across cross-functional teams
**Required Skills**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Experience designing queries and reports within financial systems
+ Knowledge of internal controls, governance, and compliance principles
+ Strong financial analysis capabilities and understanding of operational impacts
**Education Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
**Experience**
+ 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
+ Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), IBM, Blackline, and large ERP systems is a plus
**Physical Requirements**
+ Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with productivity and quality standards

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
