Position summary:

The Intercompany Accounting Analyst is responsible for daily accounting Intercompany tasks such as journal entries, month-end close activities, account reconciliations analysis, and other accounting related activities under CRFC scope. The position will report to the Intercompany Accounting Supervisor.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

Responsible for assigned month end closing activities, financial reporting, and other Intercompany accounting related tasks.Performs accurate and timely preparation of journal entries and relevant supporting documentation.Performs Intercompany accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statementsResponsible to execute assigned SOX controls and other activities related to internal and external audit requirements.Support on deliver performance metrics (KPI´s) to Supervisor.Work closely with markets and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries in a timely manner by escalating to Supervisor as required.Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.Support migration of IC R2R processes from countries in scope.Focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.Supports ad-hoc tasks and request as needed.

Education & special trainings:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level: PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, charts, formulas, etc.)English level B2SAP systems knowledge is a plus
