Accounting Analyst

Principle Accountabilities:

Proactively provide information that will help the plant increase revenue and improve profitability, as well as respond to specific requests from the management team.  Perform monthly analysis and reporting of financial performance. Understand and communicate revenue details, product and customer profitability reporting, financial analysis of proposed products, and customers and business models. Provide pricing and sourcing recommendations regarding accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, and general ledger.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is required.   Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices. Previous experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to travel 25 %. Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Manufacturing experience or public accounting.

Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills. Ability to independently make sound decisions through creative problem-solving. Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change.
