Accounting Administrator
Seeking an Accounting Administrator in the Omaha Area!! Job Description The Accounting Administrator will provide essential support to the Service Manager and the Accounting Department, ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently. The role involves using various platforms to manage and process documentation, working closely with both the Service Manager and Head of Finance. This position became available due to an internal promotion, offering significant growth opportunities within the company. Responsibilities + Apply pricing and markup to daily submitted paperwork using platforms such as Monday.com and CBRE. + Convert handwritten documents into digital format. + Enter hours worked into Monday.com. + Scan and manage vendor invoices and receipts in accounting software, forwarding them to Accounts Payable for review. + Apply rentals to invoices and ensure all documents have purchase orders. + Handle new hire paperwork. + Organize and log safety meetings, including reporting and scheduling. + Manage invoicing tasks after a probationary period of 3-6 months. + Oversee office operations, maintaining a healthy and functional work environment. + Ensure timely data entry to support the invoicing and accounts payable processes. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of equations and conditions. + 1-2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. + Ability to research parts and apply correct markups. + Professional email and phone etiquette. + Capacity to learn new systems or software quickly. + Confidence in performing tasks independently. + Ability to stay focused and achieve weekly accounting targets. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable is preferred. + Open to candidates with office management experience. + Comfortable working in a blue-collar environment. + Professionalism, respect, work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills are crucial. + Seeking candidates who are eager to grow with the company long-term. Work Environment The position requires working onsite from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., with some flexibility for personal commitments. The role is based in Omaha, where the employee will work closely with the Service Manager and service technicians. The office environment consists of a small team of three people, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Training will be provided onsite for the first two weeks, with ongoing support from the AP manager. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
