Accounting Administrator
Seeking an Accounting Administrator in the Lincoln Area!! Job Description The Accounting Administrator will play a vital role in assisting the Service Manager and Accounting Department in Lincoln. They will support the Project Manager in their designated area, utilizing various platforms to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision. This position reports to both the Project Manager and Head of Finance. Responsibilities + Apply pricing to daily submitted paperwork and apply markup when necessary. + Enter handwritten paperwork into digital format. + Enter hours worked into Monday.com. + Scan all vendor invoices/receipts into accounting software for review and email to Accounts Payable. + Apply rentals to invoices. + Ensure all paperwork, invoices, and receipts have POs. + Manage new hire paperwork. + Log, report, and schedule safety meetings. + Handle invoicing after the probationary period of 3-6 months. + Maintain the overall health and functionality of the office environment. + Document company processes. + Manage Project Services insurance needs for customers and others. Essential Skills + Knowledge of Excel, including equations and conditions. + 1-2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online. + Professional written and verbal communication skills. + Attention to detail. + Strong numerical skills and ability to convert units of measurement. + Ability to research parts and apply proper markups. + Professional email and phone etiquette. + Ability to learn new systems or software quickly. + Confidence in performing work. + Ability to stay on task and contribute to hitting weekly accounting goals. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic Excel and data entry skills, with a template provided for data input. + 1+ year of QuickBooks experience preferred, with training available. + Preference for candidates with office manager background , but experience in AR, payroll, and AP is preferred. + Seeking candidates comfortable in a blue-collar work environment; trade background experience is a plus. + Professionalism, respect, work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills are essential for success. Work Environment The role is based 100% onsite in an office setting with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., offering some flexibility for personal needs like children's activities. The company is growing, providing ample opportunities for advancement. Training will be provided onsite for two weeks to ensure the new hire is well-equipped for their role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
