Job Title: Accounting Administrator

Job Description

The Accounting Administrator will assist with all Service Manager and Accounting Department needs at our Lincoln location. They will support the Project Manager in their designated area, utilizing various platforms to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately with minimal supervision. This role reports to both the Project Manager and Head of Finance.

Responsibilities

Apply pricing to daily submitted paperwork and apply markup if necessary.Submit paperwork into necessary platforms such as Monday.com and CBRE.Enter handwritten paperwork into digital format.Enter hours worked into Monday.com.Scan all vendor invoices and receipts into accounting software for review and email to Accounts Payable.Apply rentals to invoices.Ensure all paperwork, invoices, and receipts have purchase orders.Manage new hire paperwork.Log, report, and schedule safety meetings.Perform invoicing after a probationary period of 3-6 months.Oversee office operations to maintain overall health and functionality.Document company processes.Manage Project Services insurance needs.Ensure timely entry of paperwork to maintain the flow of invoicing and accounts payable reporting.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of Excel, including equations and conditions.1-2 years' experience with QuickBooks Online.Professional written and verbal communication.Attention to detail.Aptitude with numbers and converting units of measurement.Ability to research parts and apply proper markups.Proper and professional email and phone etiquette.Ability to learn new systems or software quickly.Confidence in performing work.Ability to stay on task and contribute to weekly accounting goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic Excel skills for data entry.1+ years of QuickBooks experience is preferred, with training available.Character valued over competence.Office management experience is open, but accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable experience preferred.Seeking candidates with experience in the working industry, not requiring specific trade knowledge.Professionalism, respect, work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.

Work Environment

The role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., with some flexibility for personal needs. This position is entirely onsite with occasional flexibility. The environment is an office setting within a growing company, offering room for advancement. Training will be provided onsite for two weeks. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
