We are currently looking for an Accountant with Greek and English to join our EMEA Shared Services center team.
Main Activities and key tasks:
Process, verify, code supplier invoices as per agreed timing. Reconcile and clear supplier accounts, research and resolve discrepancies or other payment issues with vendors. Handle vendor payments. Prepare all AP, AR and General Ledger journals and ensure their accuracy, correct authorization and maintenance of relevant supporting evidence. Close liaise with the Business Unit to ensure a good understanding of business developments. Reviews accruals, reconciliations and analysis of the company accounts on a monthly basis and ensures their timely preparation. Support month end closing activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Min 2-3 years experience in accounting. Greek – A2/B1. English – minimum B2. Attention to details and accuracy, self-motivated and organized. Ability to assess, recommend and implement process improvements. Team player and deadline oriented. Excellent analytical skills. Curious, Proactive and willing to take initiatives. Excellent Organization, methodical and decision-maker skills. Ability to anticipate and adapt. Ability to effectively work across multiple functions. Previous experience with shared service centers is an advantage. Excellent knowledge of MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Previous experience with ERP where SAP experience is an advantage.
