Accountant Systems

We are seeking an Accountant – Systems to join our team, supporting the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our financial systems. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and collaborating across finance and IT.

About the Role

In this position, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our finance systems are accurate, secure, and continuously improved. You’ll provide frontline technical support to users, assist with system testing and upgrades, and contribute to developing financial reports and documentation. Acting as the bridge between finance and IT, you’ll help ensure our ERP system and operational software deliver maximum value to the business.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support for financial system users and assist with daily operationsMaintain data integrity, user access, and system security protocolsSupport testing of new functionalities, upgrades, and feature rolloutsDevelop and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentationAssist in creating financial reports, dashboards, and configurationsCollaborate with finance, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancementsIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system efficiencyContribute to ad hoc projects as required         

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

1+ years of post-graduate experienceProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Pronto preferred)Strong knowledge of excel and database managementSound understanding of accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controlsAbility to analyse financial data, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to problem-solvingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working effectively across finance and IT teamsAbility to work autonomously as well as in a teamFlexible and adaptable approach to changing work requirements

 

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldCA/CPA qualified or working towards completion (desirable)
