Accountant - R2A Specialist Reconciliation

Join us. **Job Description** This role will primarily be responsible for maintaining account reconciliations which includes preparation and analysis of assigned accounts - primarily related to Indirect Taxes. Responsibilities & Duties + Perform moderately complex balance sheet reconciliation activities, focusing on Indirect Tax Accounts. + Ensure accurate and timely preparation and review of the assigned account reconciliations. + Timely and accurate reporting of reconciling items for correction and adjustments with Tax Returns. + Ensure reconciliations are prepared and reviewed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policies, audit procedures and regulations. + Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the manager or stakeholders for timely resolution. + Document and the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required. + Contribute in various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity. + Assist in audit-related activities. + Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Manager. + Document reconciliations using specific tools as Blackline. + Implement and use workflows to enhance process efficiency and drive faster execution **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting / Finance** or equivalent relevant courses + **3-4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting** + Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools + CPA is an advantage, but is not required + Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls. + Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and tools + **Familiarity/ exposure to Indirect Taxes** Attributes: + Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a varied audience and internal and external customers. (Communication) + Ability to maintain good customer relationship with the ability to suggest ways to improve customer support customer experience (Customer Service) + Ability to be thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and identifying errors, duplicates, & discrepancies through defined methods. (Attention to Detail) + Ability to identify and resolve simple to moderate with the ability to provide resolution alternatives by following defined policies and procedures.
