Essential Function:
Responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
(This position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the SBH Support Center currently located in Denton Texas and moving to Plano in mid Fall)

Primary Duties
Performs various account reconciliations in order to interpret and report the effects of established financial plans.
Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Develops, maintains, and analyzes data, to be used in management reporting
Establish and assigns entries to proper accounts in the General Ledger.
Develops, implements, modifies, and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
1-3 years of accounting or finance experiencePrevious experience in month-end close processesSarbanes Oxley compliance experience desiredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel)Lawson Software experience plusSome travel may be required

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements:
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.Benefits
