Role
Provide for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable – AP accounting functions, including expense reimbursement administration, landowner expense reimbursement, general ledger related responsibilities and scheduled & ad hoc reporting.
Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable accounting functions to ensure the efficient workflow of AP disbursements. Collaborate with various cross functional business partners to accomplish daily responsibilities and to resolve issues. Partner with Property Management to ensure recurring billing and escalations translate properly into the landowner rent run resulting in accurate disbursements. Run daily, weekly and monthly process to generate landowner payments. Issue disbursements including cutting checks, preparing ACH files and setting up EFT payment through the bank website. Perform quality control assessment and ensure landowner invoices and check requests are approved in accordance with the Commitment Authority Policy. Update landowner record in ERP system with current ACH banking information and coordinate changes with Property Management. Assist the field, Property Management and landowners with inquiries as required. Prepare and distribute approximately 20,0000 1099-MISC forms to all applicable US vendors and landlords. Lead testing for system changes and enhancements, acquisitions, and integrations. Partner with Treasury to process unclaimed property. Review daily bank positive pay exceptions, take corrective action when applicable and maintain files for banking upload. Assist in documentation and development of department processes and desktop procedures. Develop and deliver pertinent training materials to internal and external business partners. Continually analyze processes for efficiencies and provide recommendations to improve the AP workflow. Assist AP Supervisor/Manager in the implementation of such enhancements as well as other system upgrades, integrations, and other projects. Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations and payments for Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and Landowner tax withholdings. Holds self-accountable for customer service provided to internal and external business partners. Understand and adhere to the Company’s control environment to ensure compliance with SOX. Mentor and support other AP accountants and team members. Expectations Understands AP processes as well as basic financial statement fundamentals, ledgers, and journal entries Working knowledge of JD Edwards or other similar accounting software Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with internal and external business partners Strong communication and customer service skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability and desire to collaborate cross functionally Education/Certifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or related discipline preferred Experience/Minimum Requirements Two (2) or more years of related general accounting experience Organizational RelationshipReports to: Accounts Payable Supervisor
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Monday and Friday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.

Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $25.48 - $35.05 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
