Description

Your Role

Key contributor in Financial Reporting supporting Freight, Distribution Center, and Logistics.  Responsible for moderately complex activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger, and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements.  Close process includes numerous journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis in a compressed time-period.

Your Impact 

Create analytical tools to evaluate appropriateness of the freight accrual in the balance sheet

Work closely with Freight Payables and transportation FP&A team to understand flow of freight expenses

Align with the Distribution Center Finance team to ensure appropriate expenses are reported in the DC statements

Partner effectively with Bangalore team and functional teams to drive accountability

Critical role in development, design, and implementation of outbound transportation system

Perform multiple monthly account reconciliations

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes surrounding the freight, logistics, and distribution center segments

Coordinate 10-K and tax package schedules and ensure adherence to imposed deadlines.

Minimum Salary: $58,000.00
Maximum Salary: $76,125.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience

0 to 3 years of experience in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing accounting information and financial statements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or CPA Candidate a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, dynamic team-oriented environment is important

Identify new ways of adding value to the team through improving processes to drive efficiencies & accuracy

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing, fast paced team environment

SAP experience preferred
