Financial Accountant (Client Accounts)
With over 300 employees, the EMEA Finance Centre in Krakow provides financial services for Aon entities in multiple countries. In this role of Financial Accountant (Client Accounts) you will have the chance to be part of a large multinational team who works with a portfolio of international Aon Captive & Insurance Managers (ACIM) clients. ACIM is an integral part of Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC), which is the risk consulting business for Aon. ACIM specialises in alternative risk transfer, risk finance and the formation & management of captive insurance companies
You will report to the Manager of the Account Manager Team. The work can be divided into four main areas: Insurance / Reinsurance, Accounting / Finance, Risk Control, Legal / Taxation / Compliance.

What the day will look like
+ The production of monthly & quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts together with all ancillary reports to tight reporting deadlines
+ Developing & maintaining strong internal & external relationships and understanding the client context for the portfolio you work on
+ The proper maintenance of financial records
+ Communication and liaison with clients, auditors, financial institutions and other team members to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction
+ Processing insurance information including claims and premium
+ Preparation of various insurance reports and reconciliations
+ Preparation of VAT and Insurance related returns
+ Various daily and monthly administration duties
+ Supporting group wide projects where the need arises
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
+ Knowledge of financial technical accounting (experience in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts is a plus)
+ Fluency in English, German or French is a plus
+ Knowledge of Microsoft tools (with extensive working knowledge of Excel)
+ Experience in the Re-Insurance industry is a plus
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to continually seek to improve
+ Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines and using your own initiative
