Travel: None Job Summary: Under general supervision, analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to document or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities within an agency. Evaluates, audits and maintains accounts and transaction processing to ensure GAAP compliance. + Applies GAAP, state or federal fiscal guidelines, and agency policies to establish tables/records of accounts or financial transactions, review financial data, and assign entries or apply accounting control measures to proper accounts. + Develops, maintains and prepares periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. + Establishes tables of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts. + Maintains records, files and documentation related to accounting processes. + May analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. + Oversees or participates in the compilation of data and prepares standard accounting reports.
