What You'll Do

As part of the Accounting Team, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to management by analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, making and documenting accounting entries, and supporting local finance projects.

Your tasks will include monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with US GAAP (United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Swiss OR (Code of Obligations), as well as active participation in and support of both external and internal audits. You will ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of Swiss VAT (CH VAT) declarations and act as the main point of contact for foreign VAT claims in coordination with an external service provider.
Further responsibilities include performing intercompany and third-party invoicing, cash management, and fixed asset accounting, acting as the main contact for bank relationships, and providing prompt support to the Accounts Payable and Travel Expenses Teams to ensure accurate postings and timely payments in line with local policies and processes. You will also be responsible for the regular preparation and submission of relevant statistical data.
Finally, you will contribute to and support various finance-related projects.

You will be part of the Swiss Accounting team and work closely with colleagues across the Central Europe (CE) Finance organization. Our Finance team plays a key role in safeguarding BCG’s intellectual capital, assets, and overall integrity, and has a decisive impact on the firm’s direction, performance, and risk management.
