We boldly go. **Where is the work:** On-Site (5 days) Trane Technologies in (Newberry South Carolina) is hiring an Accountant II for its Newberry Accounting team. The Accountant II is part of the ISC Finance Airside organization and reports directly to the Newberry Controller. This position will provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounts. This position will assist in month end close duties such as preparing journal entries, providing data for business units, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and Trane Technologies financial policies and practices. **What you will do:** Support the annual budget/standard cost process, strategic review process, and monthly/quarterly forecasting process Assists in annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation Reviews of transaction errors to ensure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records Analyzes sales and cost of sales, standard cost valuations, production variance, and other costs analysis, prepares and analyzes cost reports Primary for AR (accounts receivable) i.e. sales entries, collections and all general accounting functions Back-Up for AP (accounts payable) **What you will bring:** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 2 + years’ experience in general accounting and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles) Knowledge of Trane Technologies reporting structure and systems preferred (Oracle, OneStream, Microsoft Dynamics, Max ERP), Strong PC skills required: Microsoft Office Suite (with Excel emphasis) **Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:** $51,800.00 - $93,309.99 **Compensation Type:** Salary **Incentive Eligible:** No **Sales Commission Eligible:** No **Disclaimer** : We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
