Waldorf Astoria Helsinki is looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic team at the hotel.
The role aims to be a trusted finance team members. As accounts Payable / OTP (Order to Procure department) in all activities related to timely and accurate payments, maintenance and control of the hotel’s accounts payable and related accounts. Assists in any other way deemed necessary for the efficient overall operation of the Accounts Payable / OTP (Order to Procure department)
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Contribute to and support a smooth Accounts Payable / OTP (Order to Procure department) operation in full compliance with set policy, regulatory and contractual framework.Be a business partner with all hotel finance team members and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including Human Resources, Supply Management, Commercial and Operations.Manage and support all activities within the Accounts Payable / OTP function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and paymentsMaintain and control accounts payable records in line with internal policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with financial, contractual, and company frameworksCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Human Resources, Supply Management, Commercial, and Operations teamsSupport continuous improvement of financial processes and contribute to operational efficiencyParticipate in finance training and development programs to enhance professional growthAssist with additional tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the finance departmentParticipate in all relevant Finance development programs to ensure the smooth operation in the full finance department

Preferred qualifications:
● Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
● SCAAK certification (or equivalent)
