How you’ll make an impact:
Manage the day‑to‑day accounting activities for country operations and ensure that all financial reporting to the U.S. is accurate, timely, and compliant with US GAAP and internal corporate policiesPrepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysis as well as providing complex administrative support including processing reimbursement invoicesAssist team to ensure Edwards compliance by applying knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, SOX, GAAP financials, SEC, IRS) to develop explanations for internal and external auditorsReview, validate and process supplier invoicesMonitor and follow up on aged payablesEnsure correct GL coding, cost center allocationMonitor fixed asset register, validate monthly depreciationsProcess monthly prepaid expense amortization - analyze monthly schedulesPrepare monthly tax declarations (e.g. VAT) and reportingMonth-end closing accounting activities - balance sheet reconciliations, accrualsWhat you'll need (Required):
Bachelor’s degree & 1+ years of work experience in the field of finance/accountingProficiency in English
