Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

This position involves preparing and maintaining accounting records, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role includes cost accounting, month-end reporting, and general accounting practices. Successful candidates will complete entries in QuickBooks accurately and will be responsible for accounts receivable, with occasional assistance in accounts payable.

Essential Skills

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft OfficeExperience in accounts payable and accounts receivableStrong skills in invoicing and general ledger managementKnowledge of month-end reporting3 years of accounting experience preferred

Work Environment

The work environment is a small office with fewer than five people, where team members cover for each other. Working hours are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
