It's all here and it’s exactly what _going further_ is all about. **Position Summary** Provides support to the accounting team by creating and processing invoices, recording transactions, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. **Major Tasks and Responsibilities** + Completes general ledger balancing and financial statement preparation. + Processes monthly accounting closing reports, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. + Records all contributions, distributions, and fund expenses through proper fund entity structures. + Reconciles bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable regularly to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data. + Analyzes recordings and identifies solutions to dividends. + Monitors receivables and collaborates in the collection process for past-due accounts. + Manages and resolves chargebacks and dividends efficiently. + Maintains up-to-date vendor information in the accounting system. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience. + Accounts Payable Certified. + Working knowledge of accounting systems. **Benefits** At Saia, your success is our success!
