Job Title: Accountant

Location: Plantsville, CT (Fully Onsite)

Salary Range: $65,000 to $67,000

Type: Direct Hire – Full Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, detail‑oriented Accountant to join our close‑knit team of five, working alongside our Controller, Accounts Payable Specialist, and CFO. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, hands‑on setting and values accuracy and efficiency in financial operations within a blue‑collar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bank reconciliations.Manage month-end closing processes.Prepare and post journal entries.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Oversee software updates and improvements (Sage and Excel proficiency required)Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Proficiency in Sage accounting software.Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.Strong experience with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $31.25/hr.
