Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance and/or related field.3 years minimum experience in accountingEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. 2+ years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing/distribution company that uses computers generated data from an integrated Accounting System, i.e. BAAN, ORACLE, Hyperion, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
Performs accounting activities, compiles periodic data for preparing standard and special financial reports for use by management in distribution activities.Maintain and update records and reports for Accounts Receivable and other Sales/Customer related activities and records.Prepares reports of key operational metrics on a timely basis for tracking performance to forecast and budget and meet external reporting requirements. Analyzes operational performance in comparison to profit plan and prepares related reports for use by operational personnel.Prepares, analyzes, and reviews product margins, including margin and pricing activities.Prepares and oversees month-end general ledger closing entries and participates in all closing activities. Verifies support schedules to general ledger control accounts and reconcile accounts as required. Prepare all general ledger journal entries in the accounting areas. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the financial data in the Trial BalanceResponsible for month end processing of ERP system including running all reports and bringing the system back up for user accessMonitors performance metrics and trouble-shoots any problemsConducts monthly internal audits (ASATS) in accordance with internal audit procedures and compliance calendarPerforming periodic audits of cycle counts, inventory and other areas that appear require internal controls to ensure integrity of assets and liabilities reported on the Trial balanceAssures and maintains adherence to accounting policies and procedures and identifies areas where procedures could be improved. Maintains confidentiality on all data or information they encounterMaintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with Company Standards of Business Conduct.Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
