Job DescriptionWithin the Eurofins network, business support services are pooled into National Service Centres (NSC) to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance across Eurofins companies.
The Accounting team at the NSC in Luxembourg manages the accounting and reporting for Eurofins holding companies. They are looking for an accountant to help support their accounting, reporting and financial controlling activities, including preparation of documents linked to audit and tax requirements.
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

Provide full-cycle accounting support for a number of Eurofins companies, ensuring compliance with the Chart of Accounts and guidelines at the NSC in Luxembourg and the network, along with appropriate supporting documentation.Implement internal controls based on internal and external audit findings.Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting.Reconcile monthly intercompany transactions, follow up on overdue items, and address business queries.Assist with intercompany loan-related topics including interest and foreign exchange.Follow up on loan portfolio reconciliation and documentation with the Treasury team.Collaborate with the Treasury team on cash flow monitoring, short-term liquidity planning and cash forecasting.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and oversee intra-Lux transactions.Ensure accurate and timely local and legal reporting, on a monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis.Assist in preparing the statutory annual financial statements, including notes to the accounts.Handle ad hoc requests from the Group Service Centre (GSC) Accounting and Controlling team.Address ad hoc requests from other GSC teams related to compliance, treasury, legal, or from specific financial directors.Regularly conduct inventories of various intercompany agreements and physical assets, and reconcile the findings with the accounting records.Assist in defining and improving accounting and finance processes and written procedures.Manage the accounting and finance integration of new Eurofins companies.Contribute to system improvements for the Treasury Management System and other tools, and process automation and digitalisation initiatives in collaboration with IT and finance teams.Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and act as a business partner for Treasury and Controlling teams on specific technical topics.QualificationsProfile description:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.Strong organisational skills with excellent time management skills.Very accurate and highly reliable.Proactive, adaptable, and flexible.Fast learner, with an agile mind and a keen interest in the varied nature of the position.Capable of working independently.Good communication skills.A team player who enjoys working in a small team.Eager to work in an evolving, dynamic, and multicultural environment.Strong technical mindset with interest in process optimisation, digital tools or automation.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Controlling, IT, Legal).Experience or strong interest in cash management or treasury-related topics is a plus.Requirements:
