Job Description
The Accountant will support the accounting group with daily corporate accounting tasks and month-end close functions.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly accounting close.Manage daily cash transactions and reconcile them with the corresponding bank statement.Prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with corporate policy and procedure.Research reconciling items as required.Participate in the preparation of financial footnotes and other financial reports.Assist with projects, compliance, and other accounting functions as needed.Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.Essential Skills
Proficiency in SQL.Familiarity with general ledger, reconciliation, reporting, financial statement preparation, and journal entries.Experience with cash transactions and reconciliations.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting.1+ years of experience with US GAAP functions for month-end close within an organization greater than $30M in revenue.6+ months of experience with an ERP such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.Work Environment
This role reports to the VP of Accounting and the Director of Accounting within a team of over 30 in the Servicing Accounting team. The position is onsite four days a week, Monday through Thursday, in Fort Washington, PA. The workplace is a newly renovated, state-of-the-art HQ facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatboro, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.50/hr.
