On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. The sale is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025. Upon completion of the sale, all THS team members will become part of Areas at which point this role will become fully remote.

PayMinimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $66,800 – $84,100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Perform monthly close procedures, including preparing standard journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and addressing discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting Investigate and resolve variances, reporting discrepancies, and other issues promptly while maintaining strong internal controls and documenting accounting processes and policies Oversee contract reviews and calculate associated rent, royalty payments, and packages; coordinate with third-party providers and ensure compliance with accounting systems and procedures Provide accounting support across the business, facilitate complex financial analysis and reporting, and assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits Collaborate on process improvements, mentor accountants, and support finance team projects, presentations, and initiatives as needed More about you Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required Minimum of 1 year of accounting or finance experience preferred Deep understanding of accounting functions and accounting processes Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft Financials, or similar accounting software This position will be fully remote, east coast residence preferred Shift detailsM-F
