Siemens Healthineers Oncology Services Algeria is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Algiers.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and month-end closings. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in alignment with internal policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices (local and international), ensuring correct coding and required approvals
Schedule and process payments via checks or wire transfers
Manage supplier advances and monitor settlements
Handle bank domiciliation procedures and oversee import-related transactions
Monitor bank accounts, flag overdue and past-due items, and coordinate initial clarifications with customers or vendors
Prepare cash flow planning reports and projections
Support financial accounting management with data analysis and reporting
Record a variety of business transactions in accordance with the chart of accounts and applicable accounting standards
Reconcile accounts using internal tools and systems
Assist with month-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and account reconciliations
Act as a first point of contact for accounting-related queries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Fluency in English is required
