What You’ll Do
As an Accountant I, you’ll be a key player in our finance operations, focusing on:
+ Residential Billing & Subsidy Management: Accurately process client charges, rent advances, and lease subsidy invoices across transitional and permanent housing programs.
+ Accounts Receivable Oversight: Track payments, reconcile client accounts, and ensure timely posting of deposits.
+ Compliance & Reconciliation: Maintain detailed records, support month-end close, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Controller and finance team to support budgeting, contracting, and special projects.
+ Support & Innovation: Provide backup for accounts payable and billing functions, and contribute ideas to improve fiscal processes.

What You Bring
+ Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or Associate’s with relevant experience).
+ 2–3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable preferred.
+ Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or residential billing is a plus.
+ Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong grasp of accounting principles and attention to detail.
+ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and other Office tools.
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.21 - $28.21/hr.
