Job description
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts and financial statements. Records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting policies and principles. Provides financial support through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Prepares statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports, and contributes to accounting projects.
What you will do:
Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities.
Investigate and resolve unsupported balances.
Provide support to business on request related to journal/recon backups.
Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses.
Financial Statement analysis.
Prepare journal entries calculations.
Perform month end closing process and any request as necessary
Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP.
Performs other related work to accounting cycle.
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
MS Office Suite
Intermediate excel level (pivot table, formulas, charts)
Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
SAP, Oracle or QAD systems knowledge is a big plus
Qualifications & experience:
2-3 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage
Travel Percentage: 10%
