OfficeJob Description
The role of Accountant involves managing financial operations, payables, local filing, and month-end closing processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayablesProcess invoices and credit notes per PPD policies, weekly payment etc.
Local Regulation FilingPrepare Bi-Monthly VAT filings and supporting documents and ad hoc WHT filing and payments
Manage Foreign Exchange Import and Export Declarations
Month/Year End ClosingPrepare and input journals and month-end reports.
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings
Reconcile annual WHT with General Ledger
AdminMonitor unprecedented cheque status and manage deposits, Receipts and Tax Invoice collection, Monitor bank transactions and maintain unpaid Tax Invoice List etc.
Other Roles:Manage vendor and employee queries, provide technical accounting advice and communication with employees of internal departments and Inter-companies
QualificationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of proven experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Good communication skills in Chinese and basic English
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive information effectively
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with high-quality results
Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax)
Experience with international companies and Oracle is an advantage
