Responsible for providing business unit general accounting and internal control support, completion of the close, and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are accurate and reflect the proper amounts.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Assist in the month end, quarter end and the year-end close processPrepare, code and record journal entries in GLProcess allocations and reclassification entriesPerform data balancing activitiesReview trial balance and reconcile / analyze all general ledger accountsProvide audit support specific to general accountingMonitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protectedPrepare financial reports for internal, government or statutory requirements as directed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Two (2) or more years of relevant experience OR Finance/Accounting internship within Oshkosh Corporation.

Experience in interfacing with business customers in defining general ledger, account and reporting requirements

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

CPA/Advanced degree

Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations.

Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
