Accountant - Lexington, MA)

Our client, a leading research and technology organization, is seeking an Accountant to support their finance team on a contract basis. This role focuses on accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and monitor accuracy of general ledger activity.Assist with grant and contract billing and support collections reporting.Respond to internal and external audit requests as needed.Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
