Job Description:

 

Targets of the Position:

 

Customer perspective: Enable seamless financial transactions Support data analysis for business insights

 

Financial perspective: Ensure accurate financial records and integrity. Deal effectively with external authorities. Manage accounting tasks from invoice processing to Group reporting. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Support the Country Manager with forecasting and reporting. Manage cash flow and payment transactions.

 

Process perspective: Improve internal financial processes and interfaces as needed. Support improvements across internal workflows (e.g., Sales-to-Finance, Ops-to-Finance). Strengthen interfaces with external parties, including banks, auditors, and suppliers.

 

Skills perspective Apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Demonstrate motivation and commitment to producing high-quality, timely, and accurate financial reports. Be a proactive and collaborative team player.

Possess advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities ®- Responsible, (A)- Assistance

(Tasks/Customer perspective)

® Enable seamless financial transactions for both suppliers and customers in their interactions with SKIDATA. (A)Support data analysis efforts to enhance product quality and develop value-added services for improved customer satisfaction.

 

Tasks/Financial perspective:

® Ensure accurate financial records and maintain the financial integrity of SKIDATA (A) Liaise effectively with external authorities, such as tax departments and auditors, on financial and compliance matters. ® Execute core financial and tax accounting processes, including support for external payroll, and ensure full compliance with relevant financial regulations. ® Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS and Group reporting guidelines. ® Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, budgets, cash flow forecasts, management accounts, and variance analysis. ® Manage cash flow and payment transactions to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency. ® Monitor financial due dates and ensure timely compliance with all obligations. ® Accurately calculate, present, and pay GST in line with regulatory requirements. ® Manage capital expenditure processes, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset write-offs. (A) Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. (A) Support project management by providing financial analysis of customer project profitability. ® (A) Review and maintain legal agreements and ensure all financial operations meet required legal standards

® Provide ongoing support to enhance and streamline internal financial processes. ® Contribute to improvements in cross-functional workflows, such as Sales-to-Finance and Operations-to-Finance. ® Assist management with effective interface management involving external stakeholders (e.g., banks, auditors, suppliers). ® Manage and maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents. ® Coordinate purchasing of office supplies and monitor inventory. ® Oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive work environment. ® Perform legal documentation checks, maintain accurate records, and support compliance tasks. ® Carry out other administrative duties as required to support overall business operations.

 

Tasks/Skill Perspective

Qualifications:

Education

Relevant bachelor’s degree

 

Functional competence

At least 3-5 years’ experience working as accountant

 

Proven track record of skills to fulfill tasks

 

An advanced proficiency in all MS Office tools with a concentration in MS Excel

Basic HR Support:

Support employee engagement from onboarding to offboarding Coordinate pre-employment processes Answer employee questions and serve as the HR point of contact for general HR matters Coordinate on-site events such as volunteer and wellness opportunities Support special HR projects as requested

 

Coordinate employee exits Complete exit checklist activities Prepare offboarding paperwork Conduct employee exit interviews

 

General HR administration, HRIS and reporting

Complete Contract process for employees. Assist with HR compliance matters and due dates Process id and police checks, address changes, employment verification, unemployment claims, and other related requests Manage HR data in Corporate HRIS and ensuring timely entry and accuracy Liaise with payroll department on employee changes Run headcount reports and other reports as requested by leadership Maintain HR and Employee folders in Shared drives and SharePoint Provide coordination support to recruiters virtually, including interview scheduling and follow-up as needed. Provide an annual report on resignation and termination trends with recommendations for improvement.
