Caterpillar’s Earthmoving Division (EMD) has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant supporting divisional capital management and reporting, as well as serving as the business partner for the EMD Manufacturing COE team with strategic analysis support. In this role, you will be the single point of contact for EMD Capital deployment and insights reporting. You will lead analysis to support key business decisions for digital and technology investments and key strategic footprint studies. You will work closely with leaders within the global EMD team and peers within the EMD Business Resources Team.

 

What You Will Do:

Serve as the EMD Capital CoordinatorUtilize digital reporting tools to provide insights into capital results and coordinate forecast and capital prioritizationAct as the key business partner to the EMD Operations COE including department expense, inventory analysis, benchmarking and strategic business case developmentPartner with our global supply chain team to analyze scenarios for optimizing cost and value chain designIdentify and implement process and efficiency improvements

What You Have:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Managing Multiple Priorities:  Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
