Job Description: This role can start ASAP. We are seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to manage essential accounting operations and support financial accuracy within our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring precise reconciliation of accounts and timely processing of transactions during a 12-18 month period. Responsibilities: + Prepare financial reports and various accounting statements to ensure accurate financial documentation. + Post journal entries to the general ledger and maintain meticulous records. + Generate summary sheets for review by supervisors or auditors. + Process payroll and prepare necessary payroll reports to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees. + Proof accounting reports for clerical accuracy to maintain integrity of financial records. + Allocate expenditures to correct accounts following departmental procedures. + Perform other related duties as assigned to support the financial team. Qualifications: + Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience OR Associates Degree with 5+ years of experience + Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reconciliations for credit cards and bank accounts. + Proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. + Experience in the manufacturing sector. + Familiarity with AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus, as the organization is transitioning from AS400 to Dynamics. Work Environment: The position offers a stable work environment with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The workplace supports a professional setting conducive to focus and productivity. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
