Description We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks Desktop, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to handling financial tasks. Responsibilities: • Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to maintain accurate financial records and generate detailed reports. • Prepare and manage financial statements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. • Collaborate with the President and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations. • Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and manage payroll processes. • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax forms and other regulatory documents. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making. • Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and internal reviews. • Support the implementation and integration of accounting software as needed. • Communicate effectively with team members to address financial queries and concerns. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Proven expertise in QuickBooks Desktop is required. • Familiarity with Sage 300 Timberline is a plus but not mandatory. • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
