Key Responsibilities: As the Accountant, you will be a vital part of the organization by handling a variety of financial, accounting, payroll, and administrative functions, including: + Driving Month-End Close: Ensure the successful completion of month-end close processes and deliver timely and accurate financial results. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and refine budgets and forecasts to provide financial insight and guidance for leadership decision-making. + Variance Analysis: Analyze variances against budget and forecast, providing detailed explanations and actionable recommendations. + Preparing Financials for the COO: Generate comprehensive financial reports for the COO to support strategic planning and operational oversight. + Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Process invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage collections to safeguard cash flow. + Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting integrity. + Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing while adhering to labor regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. + Human Resources Support: Assist with employee records, benefits administration, and onboarding efforts to enhance employee experience. + Office Administration: Support the day-to-day operations within a collaborative office environment, contributing to overall team efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP payroll systems. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes. • Knowledge of month-end close procedures and audit preparation. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial management. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. • Familiarity with human resources-related financial functions is a plus.
