Job Description Brook Street are working with a highly-reputable company based in Swansea who are looking to add to their finance team with a Part-qualified, or qualified experienced Accountant. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 9-5, fully on-site.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare month-end management accounts and submit results to head officeAssist with year-end statutory accounts preparation, group consolidation, and audit queriesMonitor and review team progress towards monthly targets and task completionProduce monthly reports including stock breakdown, debtors and creditors reconciliationsPrepare financial report presentations for group companies and participate in management review meetingsSupport quarterly budget preparation by branch/companyReconcile inter-company accounts and perform bank reconciliationsAnalyse assets/liabilities held in different currencies to support forward exchange contractsReview sales cut-off and revenue recognition monthlyAssist with internal audit (JSOX) evidence and reporting requirementsReview monthly reconciliations prepared by team members and ensure financial controls are effectiveParticipate in preparing transfer pricing documentationSupport various internal projects and ad hoc reporting as requiredRequirementsQualified or near-qualified with a recognised ACCA or CIMAStrong Excel skills essentialExperience using SAP highly desirableAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectivelyA team player with excellent organisational skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary with clear progression paths25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Bonuses throughout the yearCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to work on diverse financial projects and gain broad experience
