Job DescriptionThe Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organizationEnsure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and standardsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processesReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsAssist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and proceduresParticipate in the budgeting process and provide variance analysisCoordinate with external auditors during annual auditsPrepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reportsMonitor cash flow and assist in cash management strategiesPerform month-end and year-end close proceduresMaintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciationAssist in financial forecasting and risk management activitiesProvide financial analysis and reports to support decision-makingCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and reportingThis role plays a key part in supporting the Finance Department in all aspects of accounting, reporting, and internal controls, contributing to effective financial decision-making for the organization.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
