We are making every move count We at Kalmar are seeking anAccountant, Local Compliance, to assist the Country Finance Manager and take responsibility for payroll accounting. This is a temporary positionto cover a maternity leave. Main tasks and responsibilities + Managing payroll-related accounting transactions, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all payroll accounting activities. + Supporting the Country Finance Manager with local compliance-related tasks (e.g., financial statements, tax reporting). + Acting as a backup for the Country Finance Manager (CFM). + Performing ad-hoc tasks related to the ITP process. What you’ll need to succeed + Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or an equivalent qualification. + Experience in accounting and payroll processes. + Proficiency in SAP and HFM is required. + Good understanding of Finnish payroll accounting. + Strong teamwork skills. + Fluent in spoken and written English and Finnish. + Ability to deliver accurate and high-quality work under pressure. + Knowledge of local statutory accounting and IFRS.
