Job Description
Be the direct contact for key stakeholders to communicate the value proposition; be the main executor of the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships whilst maximising opportunities based on strong account plans.
Customer selling and relationship management;
Drive Sales – Own the customer engagement for target HCPs across channels, to reflect customer preferences, leveraging available content and multiple engagement channelsDevelops SMART pre call objectives in line with territory plans and aligned to brand strategy.Effectively handles objections or concerns. Consistently opens the discussion with impact, gains a logical, reasonable call to action/close on every sales call.Develops a Peer-to-Peer relationship with customers to foster productive discussions and challenge status quoEducates medical providers, other relevant decision makers and affiliated healthcare professionals.Identifies & develops disease state experts building advocacy aligned to territory planContinuously strive to gain market intelligence;
Organises and manages stakeholder meetingsDifferentiates AbbVie's value proposition to physicians or other stakeholders assigned from any competitorsStrong communication skills, ability to flex style based on customer insightsClinical and Market Knowledge Development;
Deep understanding of the product and its place within the local NHS healthcare economyAbility to navigate NHS ecosystem barriers & identify opportunities to deliver collaborative resultsShares best practice to enhance our business successProactively initiates, develops and implements a growth plan to develop in current position and prepare for future opportunitiesDemonstrates in depth disease, product, market and competitive intelligence expertiseHas a deep understanding of the multi-stakeholder environmentTerritory Management;
Continuously analyses sales reports (CRM etc.) and overlays field intelligence to adapt the territory planCollaborates closely with medical and market access colleagues to support customer needs and implement regional/national programsDevelops a business plan for own territory in line with brand strategyEffectively targets and tracks resources to maximise sales opportunities.Adheres to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements.Qualifications
Must have proven pharmaceutical sales successStrong communication and customer engagement skills, ability to challenge status quoSolutions focused, positive attitude is a mustStrategic mindset and data analytics proficiency to enable data-driven decision-makingExcellent team playerExperience within Immunology and/ or specialty secondary care would be advantageous, but not essentialStrong commitment to achieve higher results and goals, even when faced with obstacles or setbacks, a strong work ethic.Thrives in an environment with “challenging” situations and customersPossesses excellent customer engagement skills to build, develop, and maintain internal and external partnershipsHas a solution-focused approach, resilience, and a positive attitude.Courage, curiosity and self-awareness are essential.
