Account Sales Manager
Job Title: Account Sales ManagerJob Description

The Account Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. This role will manage a portfolio of assigned customers while actively prospecting and developing new business within core markets. The Account Sales Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and work closely with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service, product availability, and order execution.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and secure new customers within target markets.Manage and grow revenue within an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.Develop strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.Conduct regular customer visits to identify opportunities for additional product placements and account expansion.Present product offerings and service capabilities to prospective customers.Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and gross profit targets.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.Monitor customer purchasing trends and proactively identify opportunities to increase sales volume.Ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and relationship management.Work with customers to resolve service issues, product questions, or delivery concerns.Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.Assist with onboarding new customers including product setup and ordering processes.Provide feedback to leadership regarding customer demand, market trends, and competitive insights.Support internal teams during high-volume periods to ensure operational continuity.Identify new sales opportunities across service areas, specifically in the Baltimore/Washington Market.Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.Track sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunities within company systems.Support company initiatives that improve customer service and operational efficiency.Participate in sales meetings and company planning initiatives.Represent the company professionally in the marketplace.Perform other duties as assigned to support company growth.Essential SkillsSalesCustomer serviceInside salesMicrosoft OfficeAccount managementData entryCustomer service orientedAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior sales experience in foodservice or retail distribution, beverage, wholesale, or vending industries preferred.Strong ability to build relationships and close new business.Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal operations teams.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.Experience selling to convenience stores, independent retailers, offices, or hospitality locations is preferred.Experience in route-based distribution businesses.Familiarity with wholesale distribution or vending operations.Work Environment

The position is based on-site in Halethorpe. The role may be eligible for a company-provided vehicle for business purposes only, subject to company policies, availability, and management approval. The vehicle remains company property and is not intended for personal use.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Halethorpe, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Commission:\nQuarterly commission eligibility based on revenue growth, gross profit performance, and new customer acquisition.\nOn-Target Earnings (OTE):\n$85,000 - $90,000+ annually with uncapped commission potential.\nPaid Time Off:\nEligible for Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy.
