The Opportunity

In this role you are responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory. The role includes acting as a Advisor/consultant to customers. Account Manager is responsible for retention & value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.

Your Tasks:

New business acquisitionRenewals of expiring contracts or new tender issued by existing customers as well price negotiations ensuring customers having the right pricesEstablish value propositions and build business casesPost‐sale involvement with customersDevelop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision making units as well clinicians and purchasing departmentsServe customer’s requests and forward them to respective Service department on technical and applicational questionsBecome advisor/consultant to customer on lab productivity, use and/or designWorking actively in CRM system keeping the customer data up to date, reporting in activities and market data

Your Qualification:

Bachelor or Master degree in Biology or equivalentExperience from IVD laboratory diagnostics businessExperience from sales preferrable but not mandatory if having a strong experience from the molecular diagnostic fieldExperience from molecular laboratory field mandatoryStrong experience maintaining and developing customer relationshipsFluent in English and German or French
