As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with assigned accounts within a designated geographic territory or customer segment. Your goal will be to maximize sales and profitability by providing exceptional service and solutions to your customers while ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans, identify opportunities, and negotiate contracts to drive growth and retention in your portfolio of accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute account management strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market share within assigned territories/customer segments.

• Manage multiple accounts simultaneously, building strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels of the organization.

• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services based on customer needs and business objectives.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and pricing for both parties.

• Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership regarding trends, competitive landscape, and other relevant information impacting assigned accounts.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, operations, and finance, to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.

• Ensure timely and accurate forecasting of sales activity within your territory or customer segment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).Proven track record of success in account management or sales roles, preferably in a B2B environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility quickly with clients.Ability to effectively collaborate across functional groups and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in account management and sales techniques.Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
