Daikin Applied is seeking an Account Manager who will act as a technical sales expert developing and maintaining customer relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and serving as an advisor on products & solutions based on client’s needs. Location: Hybrid based out of Panama City and/or the surround area. This role will include frequent local travel to customers and job sites.
What you will do:
Work in assigned territory, partnering closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and TechniciansMeet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new businessCompiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation sourceTravel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concernsPrepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtainedPerform tests and conducts surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new productsPrepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plansIdentify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI)Plan, organize, and guide projects through to completion; involves internal and external subject matter experts as neededWork with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, highly customizable products/solutions to clients

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience2-4+ years of commercial HVAC field service/sales experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to influence the marketAbility to travel territory dailyValid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordWork visa sponsorship not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldExperience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking softwarePrior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
