Account Manager Corrugated Coca Cola

The Opportunity:  The Coca-Cola Corrugated Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead and support the growth and sustained performance of Smurfit Westrock corrugated at the individual Coca-Cola Bottling facilities. 

 

This individual will focus on the growth of new business and sustaining current and business for Coca-Cola North America.

 

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
 

Work in partnership with local Smurfit Westrock Corrugated plants and Coca-Cola Bottling Plants to ensure outstanding performance for both partiesBuild and foster solid relationships at the Coca-Cola Bottling facilitiesDrive account for P&L and overall cost to serve, ensuring profitable growth over the long term. Understand the profitability of the individual locations and the overall corrugated segment as appropriateServe as the primary point of contact internally for the customer, coordinating the engagement of internal experts, and resources to deliver innovative solutions and performance improvement Manage contractual relationships and assist with negotiating multi-year contracts with valuable input from local bottlers as requiredIdentify pricing dynamics and contract constraints within accounts to inform WestRock commercial decisionsCommunicate account performance to WestRock leadership team, Region and Business Unit leadersLead as required TSM’s and BRM’s with a strong account plan for strategic directionSecuring quotes for new itemsForecasting (internal and external)CADs // Print Cards // Graphics discussion on art requirementsSecuring graphics requirements from applicable plantsCoordinate graphics with separator and WRK Graphics person at each plantEnsure artwork posted to CCNA repository is sent to the appropriate plantsResponsible for development and maintenance database for drawings and print cards for all Coca-Cola corrugate businessCoordinate with appropriate plants based on capabilities and equipment for new businessHandle DMR database for all plantsensure timeline is followedensure documentation is appropriate for DMR processingaddition of RCCA according to timelineensure DPPM is measured and metEnsure execution of price fileensuring timely response and submission of monthly reportsReview activities with BRM’sensure adequate coverageappropriate engagement with all plant levelsSchedule and conduct SRMs in each location and provide deckSupport/conduct quality training Assist/develop cost savings initiatives with all plants and BRMsCreate recycling programs for OCCIdentify bottling plant efficienciesAssist with “standardizing” dies, where possibleDevelop Business Continuity Plan and updates

 

What you need to succeed: 

 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferredStrongly prefer corrugated experiencePlant or Business unit functional Management leadership experience a plusTrack record of customer account growth and successful new sales quota achievement Consultative solution selling experienceKnown developer and experience in leading teamsDemonstrated ability to promote and use CRM data, tools and insights to drive results (preferably Salesforce.com)  Good computer and software skills (i.e., Microsoft teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
