**What you will do:**
The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters an internal environment that thrives on utilization of the RTX CORE operating system, while coaching and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a challenging environment.
+ This position (Forgings Account Manager, Supply Chain) will be responsible for all aspects of supplier relationship management for our strategic forgings suppliers, including Supplier performance and the identification and execution of long term projects / corrective actions to achieve sustainable performance results.
+ Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities, as well as manage P&W objectives at supplier sites (i.e. inventory optimization, buffer strategy, lead time reduction, etc).
+ Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance metrics, such as quality, delivery, and cost, and implement improvement plans as needed. Execute EMMs at the supplier, and support Business Reviews.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams to align supply chain activities with project requirements and manage flow of procured material.
+ Reporting: Provide regular updates on supplier performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
+ Contract Management & Supplier Transitions: Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Negotiate on the development & execution of the supplier strategy, including ensuring compliance with LTA and addressing any issues that arise. Lead strategic supplier transitions in coordination with sourcing & GSC transitions mgmt..
+ Risk Mitigation: Develop and review supplier risk mitigation plans to influence supplier performance & behavior based on identified risks (capacity constraints, quality issues, geopolitical challenges, etc).
+ Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with demand planning teams to ensure suppliers are equipped to meet forecasted requirements.
+ Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and company policies, including ITAR, FAR, and DFARS requirements.
**Qualifications you must have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations management or related field with 10 years of experience in operations, supply chain or program management; or and advanced degree with 7 years of experience
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
**Qualifications we prefer:**
+ Exposure to SAP ERP systems is a plus.
+ Project management experience.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
