Our client is a tenured, mid-tier global Software Platforms and IT Services provider and one of their flagship products is a next-gen Downstream ONG software solutions that offers an IIoT-enabled wireless to support Fuel Logistics & Fuel / Fleet Transport Management and multi-site POS solutions, helping their global Oil Marketing Company (OMC) clients derive high operational efficiency, strategic advantage, with real-time visibility and control.

Title / Designation: Account Manager – Downstream ONG Software Solutions Reporting Manager: EVP – Global Sales Location: Malaysia / Philippines / Thailand / Indonesia / Cambodia / Vietnam
Role & responsibilities:
Sustain, nurture and grow existing ONG Accounts in these geos, through strategic engagement, cross-sell and upsell, leveraging exceptional proficiency in ONG Downstream vertical knowledge and map it with the articulation on the constant evolution of the company software Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (Pre-sales, Software, Operations, and other Services team) to create a compelling narrative for clients from initial contact through to end user experience, ensuring exceptional Total Customer Experience Achieve targeted sales goals and performance through effective account management. Leverage available CRM systems for the entire pre-leads to post-conversion lifecycle, with all-round visibility Build and develop market awareness and brand recognition in the APAC region
Candidate requirements:
8+ years’ experience in account management and/or software sales in the APAC region, and a track record in selling automation solutions, preferably in the ONG domain Experience in the downstream Oil & Gas industry / OMCs, with a deep understanding of end clients across the APAC region, backed by demonstrably strong and deep domain knowledge and impactful contacts in OMCs. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical, business discipline, or equivalent English language proficiency Proficiency in Tagalog / Malay / Thai – highly preferable Excellence in skills relevant across the sales lifecycle, ranging from domain knowledge, solutioning, software product knowledge, sales presentations, lead generation, qualification and conversion, account farming / mining, negotiation, bid creation, presentation and defence and opportunity and closure.
